What it is

Hyaluronic acid filler placed along the cheekbone and midface to restore the volume and projection that support the skin above the nasolabial fold and jawline. It's structural rather than purely cosmetic — the midface is a foundation the lower face rests on.

What does cheek filler actually change?

Will it make my face look puffy or overdone?
Not with anatomy-led placement along the cheekbone rather than the soft tissue below it. We review at two weeks and adjust before adding any further product.
How much filler will I need?
Most first sessions use 1–2 ml, split between both sides. Total volume depends on your existing bone structure and how much lift you're looking for.
Does it hurt?
Topical anaesthetic is applied beforehand, and most filler contains lidocaine. A cannula technique, used for most cheek placements, tends to be more comfortable than needle-only injection.
How long does it last?
Typically 12–18 months in the cheek area, longer than softer-tissue areas like the lips, since the product sits against bone with less movement around it.
Can it fix a deep nasolabial fold on its own?

What is the downtime?
Swelling for 2–4 days and possible bruising for up to a week. Most guests are comfortable in public within a couple of days, especially with makeup.
Can cheek filler be dissolved?
Yes — like all hyaluronic acid filler, it can be dissolved with hyaluronidase if you're unhappy with the result.
Is it painful compared to lip filler?
Generally more comfortable — the cheek area has fewer nerve endings than the lips, and cannula placement reduces the number of injection points.
Will it change my whole face shape?
It can — restoring midface volume often makes the face read as more balanced and less angular in a tired way, though we always work within your existing proportions rather than creating a new shape.
Can it be combined with jawline filler?
Yes, commonly — the two are often planned together as a full lower-face and midface contour, sometimes staged across two visits for easier swelling assessment.
What are the risks?
Bruising, swelling and asymmetry are the common ones. Vascular complications are rare with correct technique and are covered in the consent you review beforehand.
How soon can I wear makeup?
Usually the same day, once any injection-point marks have settled — typically a few hours.
Can men have cheek filler?
Yes — placement and volume are adjusted for a more structured, less rounded result that suits a masculine facial profile if that's the goal.
Will I need touch-ups?
